Whats on this weekend?

This weekend promises fun for everyone, with even a celebrity visiting the Brecon Beacons! We have live music and drinks, a festival of senses and Joanna Lumley will be lighting up the town of Brecon to get you in the Christmas spirit! Diamond People Exhibition at The Andrew Lamont Gallery-Theatr Brycheiniog-3rd-19th November

The next exhibition in Theatr Brycheiniog’s Andrew Lamont Gallery will be the Diamond People exhibition, a photographic exhibition of Billie Charity’s work. The exhibition celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Brecon Beacons National Park, and some of the special people who make the Park what it is today!

This exhibition has been touring since early July and we are thrilled to have the exhibition finishing with us between Friday 3 and Sunday 19 November. Click here for more information.

Make your own silver ring at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales-18th November

Come and make your own silver ring in a day here at The National Botanic Garden of Wales. The course will be held in the Aqualab not far from the main entrance. A small extra charge for materials will be made to Laura, the tutor, on the day. If you have any questions please e-mail education@gardenofwales.org.uk

Brecon with Bells On-18th November

Joanna Lumley, the Absolutely Fabulous star and advocate for the Gurkhajoanna Justice Campaign is to switch on the Christmas lights in Brecon this year! This will be the highlight of the town’s “Brecon with Bells On” Christmas Market on Saturday November 18th organised by Brecon Town Council. It is the second year the event has been staged in the town centre. Brecon with Bells On” will start at 12 noon with stalls and entertainment for the whole family in the town centre, leading up to the switching on of the town’s Christmas lights at 6 pm.
