Live @ The Waterfront – Canalathon Special- 9th September

We have FREE live music at our Waterfront Bar this weekend from 1pm to 5pm to celebrate the fact the Canalathon finishes at the theatre!

Brecon Town Concert Band – Last Night Of The Proms-11th September

Brecon Town Concert Band celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special concert featuring a selection of Welsh music, and a performance of Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”.

The second half of the concert will feature vocalist David Bond and all the Last Night favourites. Come and raise your voices to “Land of Hope and Glory”; “Jerusalem” and “Rule Britannia”. Toot your hooters and try and keep pace with the band as they perform “Fantasia on British Sea Songs”.

Barry Steele and Friends ‘The Roy Orbison Story’-15th September

GROWTH By Luke Norris- 19th September

A comedy about growing up and manning up from critically acclaimed writer Luke Norris (SO HERE WE ARE, Royal Exchange; GOODBYE TO ALL THAT, Royal Court).  Winner of a prestigious Fringe First Award at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, GROWTH embarks on its second national tour. 

Comedy Club September 2017-29th September

 Little Wander (the team behind the Machynlleth Comedy Festival) return with their monthly comedy club. Catch some of the UKs finest stand up stars at fantastic value. Line up may be subject to change

Live @ The Waterfront – Pangolin- 30th September

Based in and around Abergavenny, Pangolin perform a variety of acoustic, folk, Americana and contemporary music. They play a bit of country and their own interpretations of some modern classics. They mostly play covers but sometimes play their own songs.
