Theatr Brycheiniog offers a popular and acclaimed programme of performing arts and entertainment throughout the year. Here are just some of the shows performing in the Theatre this April.

Puccini comes to Brecon
CRITICALLY acclaimed Swansea City Opera presents La Bohème, one of the greatest romances of all opera, at Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon on Saturday April 2.

Set in war torn 1940’s Paris, sung in English and accompanied by a chamber orchestra, you can expect to hear soaring vocal lines and lush orchestral melodies from Puccini’s shimmering creation.

6.15pm Pre-show talk with Artistic Director Brendan Wheatley. The show starts at 7.30pm.

You’ve Got A Friend
TELLING the delicate story of friendship, You’ve Got A Friend celebrates two of the World’s greatest songwriters of all time – James Taylor and Carole King.

This musical journey intertwines all the hits including I Feel The Earth Move, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You), Fire & Rain, You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman) and the beautiful You’ve Got A Friend.

You’ve Got A Friend – The Music of James Taylor and Carole King is at Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon on Friday April 1 at 7.30pm.

-Buddy Holly and the Cricketers-28 April- This show has rock’n’rolled audiences across the globe from Cardiff to California, Barking to Bangkok and Swindon to Sweden. It stars some of the finest actor-musicians in the UK whose combined West End credits and was endorsed as Britain’s most popular Buddy Holly act when the boys guested on BBC One’s Saturday night live programme, The One and Only hosted by Graham Norton.
