Meet the Brewer Event – Waen Brewery Boss coming to Hay on Wye’s Beer Revolution

Hay-on-Wye craft ale shop Beer Revolution is hosting a Meet the Brewer event with Sue Hayward of mid Wales’ multi-award winning The Waen Brewery which takes place same weekend as Hay Food Festival.

Fresh from success at the recent Society of Independent Brewers competition in Ludlow where Waen picked up three gold awards and two bronze –  including third prize in the overall Champion Beer of the Competition category – Sue will be at Beer Revolution on Saturday June 27th.

The event coincides with Hay-on-Wye’s annual summer Food Festival, held in the town’s memorial car park.  Find out more about what is happening at the Food Festival here.

Beer Revolution stocks bottled craft and real ales from some of the UK’s most exciting microbreweries, including local & Welsh brewers such as Tiny Rebel, Mad Dog, Hillside, Jones the Brewer, Brecon Brewing, Celt Experience and Grey Trees.

Award-winning Waen Brewery beers being showcased on Saturday include Snowball – a 7% stout flavoured with chocolate and coconut, and Lemon Drizzle, a light and refreshing summery pale ale laced with lemon and vanilla.
