The Welsh Venison Centre, Bwlch is well worth a visit for its fantastic deli. Fill up on the best – snack on pork pies, Welsh cheeses, olives, chocolates and cakes.

Talgarth Mill – The Baker’s Table cafe will welcome tired cyclists in with open arms, then fill them up with delicious sandwiches and cakes before they head off again.

Black Mountain Gold, Crickhowell – if you’re in dire need of a sugar rush, these artisan chocolates will give you a boost.


If you’ve worked yourself up into a bit of a sweat, cool down with an ice cream from Llanfaes Dairy in Brecon or Shepherds Ice Cream in Hay-on-Wye.
