3. Talgarth Fair – 7th December 2013
The Talgarth Christmas Fayre kicks off from 10am-3pm, spilling out of the Town Hall onto the square. The Fayre will be officially opened by the Mayor and the Community Choir will entertain you at 12pm with Christmas Carols and other seasonal songs. A wide range of producers will be in the Marquee selling delicious local, seasonal food and drinks or if you are looking for unusual gifts or decorations there will be a wide range of stalls selling hand crafted items. If that’s not enough Talgarth Christmas Fayre’s children’s workshops will be held in the Town Hall committee room with hands-on demonstrations to plait friendship bracelets, make wreaths & muddy seed bombs & glittery Christmas snow scenes. At 1pm the Community Choir will sing again outside Melin Talgarth Mill to christen the new gates which are being officially opened by Roger Williams, MP. You can finish your day with a wood fired pizza at The Bakers’ Table from 5pm.
4. Bethlehem Christmas Fair – 7th December 2013
You can’t get more Christmasssy than the little town of Bethlehem itself! There will be a range of fantastic stalls selling high quality gifts, crafts and tasty local produce. Father Christmas will also be there. And best of all it’s free entry – leaving you with more pennies in your pockets to indulge in some seasonal treats! But who will be bringing the gold, frankinscence and myrrh to Bethlehem this time?
5. Myddfai Christmas Fair – 7th December 2013
There will be a wide range of local crafts & cakes available, as well as fun games and a quiz for all the family. Piping hot mulled wine & crumbly mince pies plus other tasty, home-made refreshments will be available from the cafe.
