Day 5 of the Brecon Beacons Advent Calendar – Christmas Fairs Galore Part 2!

3. Talgarth Fair – 7th December 2013

The Talgarth Christmas Fayre kicks off from 10am-3pm, spilling out of the Town Hall onto the square. The Fayre will be officially opened by the Mayor and the Community Choir will entertain you at 12pm with Christmas Carols and other seasonal songs.  A wide range of producers will be in the Marquee selling delicious local, seasonal food and drinks or if you are looking for unusual gifts or decorations there will be a wide range of stalls selling hand crafted items. If that’s not enough Talgarth Christmas Fayre’s children’s workshops will be held in the Town Hall committee room with hands-on demonstrations to plait friendship bracelets, make wreaths & muddy seed bombs & glittery Christmas snow scenes.  At 1pm the Community Choir will sing again outside Melin Talgarth Mill to christen the new gates which are being officially opened by Roger Williams, MP.  You can finish your day with a wood fired pizza at The Bakers’ Table from 5pm.
