We’re well into November now and Christmas is fast approaching, so why not start getting into the festive spirit this weekend and try your hand at making some hand-made Christmas gifts for your loved ones with Good Day Out!

Learn the ancient, traditional craft of felting and make some fabulous Christmas Tree

decorations such as snowmen, angels, robins and hearts with vintage bows.

You will learn how to turn un-spun sheep’s wool into felt and then, using very fine barbed needles and a felting pad, turn your felt into wonderful little decoration, which you can take home to decorate your own tree with, or give as a unique and thoughtful gift.

Taking place Saturday 16th November in Crickhowell, the workshop lasts 7 hours and includes lunch (with delicious local cakes and snacks!).
Price £70. Intended for adults, but youngsters welcome if supervised.

Create life-like, expressive figures from top-quality, designer sculpture clay and learn some new skills from experienced trainer, Rebecca Buck. Rebecca will guide you through a well-tested system for creating accurate figures and then after lunch you will abstract your own figure – and you’ll be amazed at what you can do!

Enjoy a fun and relaxed atmosphere and come away the fruits of your labour – a sculpture that would make a perfect present for a loved one, and you’ll have the basic skills to create even more trinkets and gifts in the build up to Christmas!

Price: £95 or £80 for a child under 12!
