Herberts Quarry

Discover the secrets of the Black Mountain Quarries (on the A4069)

21st and 22nd July 10.30am – 4.30pm

As part of the British Festival of Archaeology the Dyfed Archaeological Trust are holding a two day event on the Black Mountain. CALCH – discovering the lime industry of the Black Mountain (on the A4069) will have guided talks and tours around the quarries on the mountain as well as storytellers for children to add a spark of excitement and mystery to the area. Refreshments will be available. All are welcome but please be aware the ground is rough and uneven in places.
