We’ve a range of Free special events are taking place at Rhondda Heritage Park, Nr Pontypridd next month .….and you won’t need to worry about the weather as all events are held indoors! Here’s what’s coming up this summer ……

  • Rose Festival ~ Sunday 1st July 10- 4pm ~ a blooming great day out rose show, floral displays, gardening advice and plant sales brought to you by the only remaining Rose Society  in Wales ~ based in the Rhondda Valley.
  • Bloomin’ Women ~ Contemporary Creatives ~ Sunday 1st July 11am – 4.30pm  Featuring the very best in welsh contemporary art,  jewellery, glass, ceramics  country furniture plus lots more
  • Afternoon Talk ~ Wednesday 4th July 2pm – 3.30pm  A Queen for Cardiff  –  2000 years in 40 minutes.  An unusual and not too serious look at the history of our capital city from pre-Roman times to the present-day, presented by Blue Badge Guide, Audrey Griffiths
  • Little Welsh Nibble ~ Sunday 15th July 11am – 4pm The Sustainable Food Festival ~ Fun and family friendly event celebrating local food with cookery demonstrations by celebrity chef Franco Taruschio, live music, farmers market, workshops on food co-operatives, community gardens and talks on how we can all reduce our environmental impact.
