Birds in the Brecon Beacons National Park

A Spot of Bird Watching in the Brecon Beacons….

With it’s vast untouched open mountainous land, the Brecon Beacons National Park is the perfect habitat for a vast amount of different bird breeds.  Where ever you are in the park whether your kayaking along the banks of the rivers Usk and Wye or hiking up one of the Black Mountains you’re bound to see a different type of bird everywhere you go.

Photography teacher Will Lewis and walking guide Kevin Walker  have been out and about in the park and have sent us some brilliant pictures of just some of the breeds of birds you can expect to see when you come and visit the national park.
