Day Four celebrates Christmas Carols & Sunday Singing… or listening to those of you who might be a little tone deaf.
Like most towns in Wales, the people of the Brecon Beacons are proud of their Welsh culture. We’re very lucky to have some great choirs in the Brecon Beacons.
If you’re looking to listen to some Christmas carols this December, then I’m sure you’ll find one of Brecon Beacons choirs singing some, including: the Brecon & District Male Choir which was founded in in 1913! Crickhowell Choral Society founded in 1981, Talgarth Male Voice Choir and The Brecon Singers.
Don’t miss the Christmas Cheer with Brecon Singers on Wednesday 7th December 2011, in St Mary’s Church, Brecon.
There will be Carols, Christmas stalls and refreshments. Doors open at 7:00pm and tickets are £7.
The choir will sing carols, ‘A Child Was Born’ from Handel’s Messiah as well as a few surprises! The Brecon Singers recently performed The Messiah in Brecon Cathedral and received glowing reviews.
