Erwood Station Art Gallery

The art exhibition by painter Michael Hardwick is set to continue throughout the month of October at Erwood Station Craft Centre and Gallery, featuring dramatic scenes that capture the mood of stormy skies over the coastlines of Wales and Cornwall.

Michael’s works encompass portraiture, landscapes and still life, but the subtleties of light are what inspires both his oil and watercolour paintings. After training at Chelsea College of Art and moving to Wales from Surrey, he taught art for several years before concentrating full-time on painting for a living. His dramatic style has gained him recognition as a master painter in The International Artist magazine, along with gallery space in Cardiff and London.

Michael Hardwick’s exhibition runs until Thursday 27th October, and will be followed by a seasonal market of work by a wide range of local artists and craftspeople, which promises to offer “All you need for Christmas under one roof.”
